How It Works:
NPWT uses a specialized dressing connected to a vacuum pump. The pump applies negative pressure (gentle suction) to the wound, which removes wound exudate (fluid and debris), reduces swelling and bacteria, encourages the growth of healthy tissue and draws wound edges together to close faster.
